Real, or made by AI?

Evidence found
Honest limits: metadata is proof when present, but it is easily removed. Screenshots, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and most platforms strip or re-encode it — so “no evidence” never means “not AI”, and camera metadata can in principle be forged. Invisible watermarks such as Google’s SynthID cannot be read by any browser tool. Treat this as one signal, not a final judgment. Files carrying C2PA credentials can be independently verified at contentcredentials.org/verify.
01 · Proof

Hard evidence

AI-tool signatures, Content Credentials (C2PA), chatbot leftovers and AI-search links. When present, these are proof.

02 · History

File history

Camera data, editing time, edit sessions and the software that produced the file — strong signals, never a verdict on their own.

03 · Honesty

Honest limits

No percentage scores. Stripped files are reported as inconclusive, and writing style is shown as a weak signal only.
